Italmatch ESG Kick-off Meeting: an everyday approach within our Group

More than 75 colleagues from 16 different countries worldwide connected together to share an unique vision. Italmatch Chemicals organized an online Kick-off meeting to set up the next steps in the Company’s ESG approach. Not only a mid-long term commitment, but also a strong driver to guide the everyday work of all the members of our global team. Tracing the roadmap for the next years and underlining the importance of a collective’s pledge in terms of sustainability and social responsibility. These were only two of the main topics covered in the speeches which were gave during the event.

Together with our Group CEO Sergio Iorio, GM & CFO Maurizio Turci, Beyond Innovation Director Carlos Galeano and guest speaker Manuela Macchi, ESG Advisor & Associate Partner YourCEO of YOURgroup, the meeting served as an opportunity to share the main area of intervention for Italmatch, but also to understand new global ESG trends and strategies. ESG has always been part of Italmatch’s backbone. As a group we have been working on circular economy, sustainability and social impact of our products. Sustainability is not a top down process, but it have to be a daily purpose and driver.

Only a first step in our ESG long-term journey: a mission to be spread across the group to embrace a better tomorrow.
