Strategic redefinition of Italmatch’s business units

Italmatch Chemicals announces the strategic redefinition of its business units’ structure. As part of this significant change, the company will streamline its six business units into three, aiming to improve its internal organization and allowing the Group to further improve its accountability towards its partners and stakeholders.

Specifically, three of the current business units will be unified into one single structure to create the new “Specialty, Energy/Electrification and Oleochemicals” business unit. The current Advanced Water Solutions and Lubricant Performance Additives business units will remain unchanged. Through an optimised and clearer business structure, the Group will be able to respond more effectively to today’s and tomorrow’s market needs. Moreover, in line with its ESG approach, the creation of the new business unit underlines the company’s strategic vision on electrification and energy sectors, key applications for the global industrial framework and for the future of our planet. While announcing this major update, the company underlines that the relevant teams from the business units will not be affected by any personnel changes.
