Phosphorus-based chemistry is our heritage. Since our foundation in 1998, we have been producing an extensive range of reactive chemical intermediates, which today is composed of:

The Arese manufacturing unit is one of the world’s largest producers of acid chlorides using Phosphorus trichloride technology. A wide product range of distilled acid chlorides of both natural and synthetic origin is regularly available for use in industrial applications, personal care, pharmaceuticals and nutraceuticals.

Flame retardants play a crucial role in inhibiting or slowing down the ignition of flames and in preventing the formation of smoke toxic substances in the event of fire spreading. Many decades of research and industrial practice have shown that Phosphorus–based chemicals, which are inherently halogen–free, are the best class of materials for flame retardants.
Thanks to its long-term expertise in the P-based chemistry, Italmatch is a global provider of various families of highly efficient, halogen-free flame retardants based on Phosphorus and Nitrogen, suitable for both thermoplastic and thermoset polymers.
