Our plant in Zuera (Zaragoza, Spain) is exclusively dedicated to manufacture oleo-derivatives, with more than 50-years’ experience coming from the merger of several spanish industries to give birth to UNDESA, that was then acquired by Italmatch in 2012. Zaragoza plant owns the majority of oleochemicals production, but Arese (Milan) and Qualiano (Naples), Italy plants give them contribution too.
We have a fully integrated system with R&D and Application activities in three laboratories (located in Spain and Italy) and we can also leverage Italmatch Group’s extensive network of manufacturing sites and R&D centres located in Europe, the Americas, and APAC.
Our core industrial activity focuses on the production of fatty acids and their transformation into a wide range of derivatives, paying high attention to product safety, environmentally friendly and innovative approach throughout the entire process. Our esters find extensive use in markets such as plastics & rubbers, lubricants, personal care, food pharmaceuticals and paper.

Highly biodegradable natural fatty acids substances modified with a quaternary ammonium cationic head. This unique structure imparts a softening effect on the surfaces where it is applied. Esterquats are primarily used as a base product for manufacturing fabric softeners in the detergent industry and in Personal Care for Hair conditioner and creams. We can also develop special grades upon request.

Stabilizers are crucial in the extrusion and injection of PVC as they prevent polymer degradation during the process and enhance the mechanical properties of the finished product. Italmatch Chemicals offers a wide range of heat stabilizers, including Ca/Zn “One Pack”, Calcium Organic “One Pack” (Zinc-free) and “One Pack” booster, suitable for various applications such as pipes and cables and tailor-made products, to ensure the optimal combination of additives for the specific application and machine of our customers. This results in optimized stabilization and lubrication, providing the best features with minimal consumption.
