Italmatch joins Un Fiocco in Azienda to help employees facing parenthood
The company adheres to the program created by ManagerItalia to help mothers and fathers to face maternity/paternity
Italmatch Chemicals proudly announces that the Company is supporting “Un Fiocco in Azienda“, a program created to help mothers and fathers to face maternity/paternity, enhancing parenting and facilitate the return of mothers to the Company. Created at the end of 2010 thanks to ManagerItalia‘s Woman Mangers Group, the projects has helped ever since women and men from more than 50 companies.
Un Fiocco in Azienda main goals are to help:
- Companies to experience with harmony and greater benefit the maternity of their employees
- New mothers giving them health support and making their return to work easier
- New fathers to accompany them towards their new role and the new relationship as a couple
Several concrete action are carried on by the network, including training sessions to deal with the changes associated with motherhood/paternity; consulting with obstetrics and nutrition experts on issues such as the management of newborns and their feeding and pediatric care services. All activities which resulted in the improvement of the internal climate inside the companies involved, increased productivity of employees and a better quality of life for new mothers and fathers.
In its ESG – Environment, Social and Government – path, Italmatch has decided to undertake this path to improve also this aspect that it considers fundamental for a greater inclusiveness and equality in the company.
